Course Description: This course is intended for people who already have some background in Spanish, and therefore besides having a significant desire to learn, they also need to have some proficiency in at least the present tense. In the same way as the Beginner level intensive series, the Intermediate level encompasses an accelerated learning approach that relies on teaching the clear and concise grammatical structures of Spanish. Once the concepts are assimilated, students will learn how to apply them in different scenarios through guided conversation and fun activities. There is additionally an emphasis on the most useful and important vocabulary and verbs to the degree necessary to start communicating common life and work situations rapidly.
In this course you will effectively learn how to narrate events in the past, give directions, advice and state commands, express desires, preferences and hopes.
Duration:
10 weeks (2 classes/week) 40 hours total covered in two 5 week sessions.
