Spanish Language Education & Cultural Immersion

Tierra will host the 3rd annual "Dia de Muertos" celebration on Friday, November 4th from 6-8pm. Come learn about the history and traditions of this Mexican holiday that commemorates and celebrates deceased loved ones. There will be live classical guitar music, traditional holiday food, and special prizes. Visitors are encouraged to bring a photo of a deceased loved one to add to the event altar, and to share a bit about their relationship with that loved one with the group (in Spanish, of course!)

This event is open to current students for free and to the community for $5. Though some traditional holiday food will be provided, guests are encouraged to bring a food/drink contribution for this special event.
