NEW Spanish Conversation and Culture Courses!

Continually seeking to expand our course offerings in order to provide the highest quality and most well-rounded educational experience, we at Tierra are excited to announce the addition of our brand new Conversation and Culture Series! This summer, give your conversational skills a boost and immerse yourself in Latin American culture in these informative and engaging classes, designed to give you the opportunity to practice speaking through group discussion about fascinating cultural topics.

These five week courses will meet once a week between June 12th and July 20th, and provide a perfect bridge for students who wish to continue studying (or join us for the first time!) before our official summer session, beginning July 23rd. With three stimulating, informative, and participatory courses, there is a conversation and culture offering for students of every level!

Beginner: Descubre Sudamerica - Discover the culture, traditions, art, food, famous people, and beautiful destinations of several South American countries!

Intermediate - Perspectivas Femeninas: Las mujeres en Latinoamérica - Explore Latin America through the perspectives of women as we learn about inspiring public figures, traditional customs, and women's activism.

Advanced: Movimientos y Luchas Sociales de Latinoamérica - Expand your knowledge of some of the most interesting and important contemporary social movements of Latin America.
