Our private Spanish lessons are custom-designed for you according to your ability level and learning goals. When you meet privately with one of Tierra’s experienced and dedicated instructors, you’ll enjoy a completely personalized educational experience tailored to your interests and needs.

Private lessons are ideal for students who have specific Spanish-learning needs. We’ve helped past students attain a wide variety of goals, from expanding their vocabulary and ability to use Spanish in the workplace to gaining the confidence to navigate traveling abroad, from being able to communicate with Spanish-speaking family members and friends to preparing for Spanish proficiency exams.

Ultimate Flexibility

Choosing private lessons also offers you significant flexibility in scheduling. We will do our best to match you with a teacher at the time that is most convenient for you. Private lessons can be scheduled in the daytime or in the evening, during the week or on weekends. While most students have one lesson a week, you can schedule private lessons at the frequency of your choice, from five times a week to once a month. You can cancel a lesson up to 24 hours before it’s scheduled to occur, and can even take a break of up to 3 months between lessons and not lose your remaining credit.

Affordable

As with our group Spanish classes, we offer competitive rates that represent an incredible value for the customized services provided. The prices for adult private Spanish lessons (age 18 and up) are:

• One student -    $75 per hour or $345 for 5 hours or $615 for 10 hours                                            
• Two students -  $95 per hour or $445 for 5 hours or $815 for 10 hours

Private lessons for children and youth (ages 7 to 17) cost:

• One student  -  $85 per lesson or $395 for 5 lessons or $745 for 10 lessons  (lessons are 50 min for students of age 10 or younger and 60 min for students of age 7 to 17)

Can't come to our location? Would you like to take classes from home?

We also offer online private sessions through different platforms such as Zoom or Skype. The structure and setting is the same as if you were coming to our location and you would meet virtually with one of our fantastic instructors. All policies and pricing for online lessons are the same as those listed here for in-person lessons.
