Celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Tierra’s 4th Anniversary!

Join us on Friday, May 3rd from 6-8pm for a community fiesta to mark Cinco de Mayo and Tierra’s 4th Anniversary! Come meet people interested in Spanish and Latin American culture, share a delicious potluck meal including tamales and homemade horchata, and practice speaking Spanish! Cinco de Mayo has become a day to celebrate Mexican-American heritage, learn more as we show an audio-visual presentation with examples of folkloric dance and holiday festivities in the U.S. and Mexico.

To show our appreciation of student and community support in our first four years, all attendees will be invited to participate in a raffle at no cost with awards for student discounts and free Spanish classes at Tierra!

This special event is open to the community - you are encouraged to invite your friends & family and bring a dish or drink to share and/ or a suggested $5 contribution.
