Start your summer with a fun Spanish learning experience by joining a Spanish course in Tierra’s “Summer Intersession” - a special 3-week term between our Spring and Summer Terms starting the week of June 15th (*Friday courses start June 12th)!

You’ll find a wide range of unique and specific conversational and grammar review courses, a perfect opportunity to hone in on a topic interesting to you and boost your confidence in using the Spanish skills you’ve already gained. Courses meet for either 3 or 6 class sessions, most of these special courses are only offered once a year!

Tierra will be celebrating 17 years since we opened in May, 2009 and you’re invited! The fiesta will be Sunday, May 31st from 4-6pm. Join us at Tierra (5745 NE Glisan St. in Portland)  for this special event, a wonderful opportunity to meet Tierra students and teachers and build community, enjoy live music, plus a chance to win discounts on Spanish classes at Tierra and other great prizes in our free raffle!

This event is free and open to the community - invite your family and friends! It will be potluck style, there will be tamales, rice, beans, and agua de jamaica, we welcome you to optionally contribute a dish, salad, dessert, or drink to our celebratory feast.
