As a locally owned, independent language education center, we strive to meet the needs of our community by offering a wide range of effective and enjoyable Spanish courses for students of all levels, from absolute beginner to advanced, at affordable rates. We also specialize in designing and implementing on-site language courses for businesses and organizations in a variety of fields.
A family-owned business opened in May 2009, Tierra has evolved into a thriving educational and cultural center, uniting people from all walks of life through the joy of learning together. We believe that nature and human evolution show us the best way to teach a language: warm human interaction. With that in mind, we are dedicated to providing students with a welcoming, friendly, and motivational environment in which they can interact naturally with their instructor and classmates, developing their Spanish language skills through meaningful communication.
The name of our center reflects our philosophy as Tierra is the Spanish word for “Earth”. It summons a sense of oneness and evokes the values we hold dear, such as diversity, respect, multiculturalism, peace, and conservation. Calling our center Tierra highlights our main objective of helping people to build bridges across cultural and linguistic barriers, at home and abroad.
